I guess you should know your market when you advertise, but really, here?
I attended a hockey game in our wonderful state and needed to use the restroom. I found this ad for a doctor of urology. Is this really an effective way to advertise a medical practice?
It reads: “If you have been here twice, you’re missing the action”.
When I saw it, I started to laugh. The guy next to me asked, “What’s so funny?” he never even noticed the advertisement.
When I was in business, there were often advertising sales people trying to sell me ads on restaurant place-mats. My standard answer was: “why would I pay to have someone spill gravy on my advertisement”. You can imagine what my response would be to this ad salesman.
